Azzurri FC is excited to announce its new partnership with our local semipro club, Yuba FC.

For those who don’t know, Yuba FC is doing great things and just completed its first season with distinction earning the title of UPSL Division 1 Champions. They bring a much-needed element to our local soccer community providing next-level opportunities previously not available to our local athletes as well as attracting talent from outside our community.

Azzurri FC, on account of its amazing staff, players, and families, is also doing great things and continues to grow and enjoy increasing success season after season. After spending time together over the past couple of months discussing goals, vision, etc., we’re both convinced we have an opportunity to build on our successes and expand on what we could have previously offered through this partnership. Both Clubs share a common vision, soccer philosophy, style of play, etc., which all lead to a common goal of providing a next-level experience and opportunities for our soccer community and its athletes.

Over the next year, Azzurri FC and Yuba FC will be working hand in hand to lay the groundwork for a full merger and our transition into an academy program by the end of the 23/24 season. In the interim, we will be working closely together, very much as if we’ve already merged, as we support each other and work together in various capacities to not only attract and develop new talent but work to retain the local talent that has in years past moved on. We will work closely together through the upcoming Spring season leading into tryouts with the intent of having joint tryouts in May.

In summary, both Clubs are extremely excited and committed to this new venture. Most importantly we’re convinced it will lead to great things and greater opportunities for our soccer community at large.
